At Black Girl Digital, it is important for us to continuously find ways to encourage the Black Creator Economy to keep inspiring by celebrating their efforts publicly.
The Black women in the Creator Economy are setting trends faster than any race and gender. Not only are they breaking new fashion and dance trends, but they are also encouraging and inspiring industries, and cultures to level up. However, their efforts can go unseen with more than 50 million people claiming to be content creators. That stops here! Celebrating “Black Women of Influence” is about creating space for these creative women to be honored and appreciated by their peers.
On Saturday, November 5, 2022, we had the pleasure of celebrating five Black women creators who have dominated the space and committed to their growth as an influencer. These women have proven three very important things throughout their perspective journeys:

It takes courage to commit to a vision that only you can see.

It takes courage to commit to your core values when opportunities arrive and you have to exercise your right to say no, respectfully.
Impact and Influence come in many forms and many levels.
